How much does a UK virtual phone number cost?
LineHQ packages start at £4.99/mo for the Line Only plan (one UK number with voicemail-to-email) and go up to £39.99/mo for Scale (five numbers plus a virtual receptionist). There is no contract and no setup fee — you pay monthly and can cancel anytime.
Is there a monthly minimum or a contract?
No. Every plan is rolling monthly with no minimum term, so you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel whenever you like. Forwarding minutes over your plan’s allowance are billed from a prepaid wallet, so you only pay for what you use.
What happens if I go over my included minutes?
Calls beyond your plan’s included forwarding minutes are billed from a prepaid wallet, typically at 5p per minute and itemised to the penny. Your calls keep working — the wallet simply covers the overage.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Paying annually gives you two months free compared with paying monthly, and you can switch billing frequency from your account at any time.
Can I get more than one number?
Yes. Each plan includes one or more UK numbers — from one on Line Only up to five on Scale — and you can add more. Numbers can be local (020, 0161…), 0800 freephone or 03/0333 national.
