How much does a UK virtual phone number cost?
LineHQ packages start at £4.99/mo for Pay As You Go — that covers number rental for one UK number, plus voicemail allowance: 300 minutes on local/03 numbers, or 50 minutes on UK 07 mobile numbers. Forwarded calls on that plan are charged as you use them: 5p/min to UK landlines, 7p/min to standard UK mobiles, and 0800/freephone from 8p/min. Plans go up to £39.99/mo for Scale (five numbers, 4,000 forwarding minutes and a virtual receptionist). No contract, no setup fee, cancel anytime.
Is there a monthly minimum or a contract?
No. Every plan is rolling monthly with no minimum term, so you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel whenever you like. Forwarding minutes over your plan’s allowance are billed from a prepaid wallet, so you only pay for what you use.
What happens if I go over my included minutes?
Calls beyond your plan’s included forwarding minutes are billed from a prepaid wallet, typically at 5p per minute and itemised to the penny. Your calls keep working — the wallet simply covers the overage.
Can I make outbound calls from the LineHQ app?
Yes. Professional Calling is £9.99/mo ex VAT on Mobile and Reception, included on Scale, and not self-serve on Pay As You Go at launch. Outbound calls are 5p/min from wallet credit and do not use included inbound forwarding minutes.
Can LineHQ sync calls to my CRM?
Yes. CRM Sync is a paid add-on available from Mobile upward, with support for HubSpot, Zoho CRM and Pipedrive. It can log calls, voicemails, transcripts and AI summaries to matched CRM records, with recordings kept behind secure LineHQ links.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Paying annually gives you two months free compared with paying monthly, and you can switch billing frequency from your account at any time.
Can I get more than one number?
Yes. Each plan includes one or more UK numbers — one on Pay As You Go and Mobile, two on Reception, and five on Scale. To use more numbers, upgrade to a plan with a larger included allowance. Numbers can be local (020, 0161…), 07 mobile, 0800 freephone or 03/0333 national.
