LineHQ’s Telegram integration connects call alerts and supported task actions to a chat you choose. The owner can also connect a team group. Receptionist job capture is a separate plan feature: where enabled, job requests can be managed from the supported notification actions. Sign in to LineHQ and open Telegram. Start the pairing flow for your own account; team-group connections are managed by the account owner.
Complete the pairing
Follow the link or QR instructions shown in your account. Pairing codes expire. Do not share a personal pairing code with anyone else.
Choose your alerts
Review what will be sent to the chat and use the test-notification control. A team group should only contain people authorised to see the business’s call information.
Frequently asked questions
Does Telegram answer my customer calls?
No. Telegram receives notifications and supports the actions offered by LineHQ. Calls still follow your configured forwarding, receptionist and voicemail routes.
Is this a conversational AI assistant?
No conversational assistant is included in the service described here. The connection covers supported notifications and task actions. It does not promise free-form chat, live AI conversations with callers or diary booking.
Which plans include receptionist job capture?
Job capture follows the package entitlement shown on the pricing page and must be enabled on the receptionist. It turns a transcribed message slip into a request for your team to review, not a confirmed booking.
Does connecting Telegram change the UK AI-processing policy?
Transcription and AI summaries are still generated on LineHQ’s UK infrastructure. Connecting Telegram separately authorises delivery of notification content to Telegram and the selected chat members. Telegram handles that delivered copy under its own terms and privacy policy.
Can I disconnect Telegram?
Yes. Disconnect your personal connection in LineHQ’s Telegram settings. The account owner manages a team-group connection. Disconnecting stops future delivery; it does not remove copies already delivered to a chat.
